Mull, Land of Waterfalls

Lying just off the coast of mainland Scotland is the isle of Mull.  Mull is the fourth largest island of both Scotland and Great Britain and is a wild land of hills, mountains, rivers, and waterfalls.  Its rugged beauty makes it attractive to nature lovers, but dangerous to inexperienced drivers.  The primary road running north or west from Craignure on the east coast is only one lane and is shared by cars, cattle, and tour buses alike.
If you have an interest in seeing Mull, take the Caledonian MacBrayne tour out of Oban and let someone else worry about the driving.  Enjoy the view, whether rain or shine, from the comfortable seats and learn interesting facts about the island from the knowledgeable drivers.  Mull is well worth the visit, particularly when you can relax and enjoy it on a tour.
Note: The tour out of Oban includes the Isle of Iona as one of its destinations.  At the time of this writing, the cost of the tour is reasonable and includes the price of four ferry trips and two bus trips.  However, it does not include admission into Iona Abbey.
